Looking at the last 6 games, QoS don’t travel well but they have done ok at home beating Partick and Dunfermline. Drew 0-0 with Morton at home in their last home game but heavily beaten by Killie away and beat off of Hamilton. They’ll be looking at this as a game to bounce back.
Matthews being back is huge. Tom Lang has done amazing so for me I’d keep him there. I’d also stick with Poplatnik. Ross has to stay in too. Quietly confident but both teams to score would be a good bet! _________________ RIP RONNIE |

I would be pleased with a performance that entails our good “pass n move” footy.
Another decent surface at Palmerston, suits our style.
Should be a strong team out for us. _________________ Born a Rover Live a Rover Die a Rover |

Well, it is a cobbled road made of artificial grass similar to ours. I have been there a few times and it certainly puts the Alloa pitch to shame.
They have had it for about 5/6 years I think.
It’s akin to Falkirk age wise and is far superior than playing on different lengths of grass each week with varying amounts of mud in the mix.
Going on the fact that most top club sides use hybrid pitches, throughout the continent, ANYTHING pretty much is better than grass only pitches where the variance is huge depending entirely on weather and growing conditions.
I for 1 am happy to accept the “ Football establishment “ view that plastic/hybrid is superior to what I was brought up on. _________________ Born a Rover Live a Rover Die a Rover |

I'd adjust that summary assessment - RBS plays much better when we have the ball, compared to when we don't.... |

Aware thats its an artificial surface at Queens but its not the best.
Not sure what surface top clubs on the continent have has to do with Queens pitch which isnt hybrid btw
I was one of those that was very much against synthetic surfaces but very much a convert now after ours was installed. Its an excellent surface and one of the better ones in Scotland although that may well be down its newness
Sure theres been rumblings recently that teams in the Scottish Premiership are wanting/looking for Livi to get rid of their excuse of a synthetic surface _________________ THERES FIVE OF ME |

Aye, no out and out easy Games in this league and this will be no different. Still, the team's on a good run so hopefully we can keep it going today.
Sadly I will not be able to watch the stream today as I have to go to Elgin for my Flu jag and Covid booster at 1545. Sod's Law eh?
It's my own fault really. I should have voted for the Monster Raving Loony party back in the day. Their leader was an ex sixties pop star *Screaming Lord Such* who changed his name to simply "Lord Such". Anyway, in their Manifesto, one of their pledges was to REPEAL SOD'S LAW. Genuinely. This was one of the party pledges had they been elected.
Aye back then if one of the Party Leaders appeared to be an idiot it was because he meant to look like an idiot for a bit of lighthearted fun. Compare that with today? (Sorry Moderators I slipped off the point there)
I would take an any way, any how, three points today. COYR. |

As ever, first and foremost, any style of win for the three points will do. If it comes with a feast of fast flowing fitba' so much the better.
This will likely be a close game as any game usually is in Dumfries with the exception of the 5-2 last season. Even that was a lot closer than the score suggested.
Hope the weather is better than the strong winds here today. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!
