As ever, first and foremost, any style of win for the three points will do. If it comes with a feast of fast flowing fitba' so much the better.
This will likely be a close game now that Ayr seem to have got its act together with Duffy at the helm.
Hope the weather is better than the horrendous rain here?

Think that just about covers everything bar the weather.😊

Another attempt at turning a comfortable afternoon into a nightmare!

Missed Matthews but now looking at Spencer being unavailable...Tait had another uninspiring performance, BRS was a mile off the pace..

I hope McGlynn is given some wriggle room in the window once Tait is away cause while we may be fragile, we aren’t a million miles away from being a right good team

Well, I called it 2-1 earlier in the thread, but after being so much on top in the first half and two nil up, I expected better in the second half.
BRS is not a great option and JMcG knows that, which is why he didn't start him, despite Rossco being out.
But, Ethan Ross wasn't effective playing inside ,despite scoring.
We have to hope that Frankie will be fit enough to challenge for a place, soon, especially if Brad is now out with a hammy. Even if Spencer is ok, Musonda will be needed as a sub.
We get three points, though, which moves us closer to ICT.
C'mon The Rovers.

The ultimate game of two halves.
Fair play to Duffy for the changes he made at half-time, but our game management again left a bit to be desired.
Although in a completely different position, Riley Snow is reminding me a bit of Nando Mendy - has a bit of football in him, but sorely lacking in game awareness.
Thought it was between Berra and Lang for Man of the Match which tells the story of the second half.
However, still three points.

Could anyone following on updates give feedback if there were any difficulties early on.
Last week it was reported they never started until 8pm

No issues today as I posted this at 3.04pm.

any updates

I've noticed that they are late in starting most games now for whatever reason (s). Sometimes up to quarter of an hour into the game.

Thanks again.
I'll look into it.

That 2nd half was a tough watch today. I don't believe it was down to the loss of Spencer but more the changes Ayr made that we didn't react to at all for a long time. Our first half performance was excellent, we started well and just dominated play, well deserving of our lead and just as well really.

Riley-Snow didn't get into the game for the first 20 mins of the 2nd half but then he was settled and did his bit to help out. Berra or Lang were man of the match for me, both outstanding at the back. Tumilty had a poor 2nd half as well, done far too easily a few times down the line and the goal was one of them. The lad puts in a shift though.

Thought Tait had a much better game today in the first half, involved in everything but 2nd half again just looked lost and slow to cover the ground.

Finally, that save from MacDonald towards the end, absolutely cracking

Gaffer delighted with the three points but hard on the heart. Not that he's got much hair to lose but I suspect that some of his side fringe may have gone awol by 5pm today.😉

A good result and many thanks ought to go to our Keeper for remaining alert. (The save towards the end may have been crucial).

However, I would rather not see that display of lethargic complacency as was demonstrated in the second half again.

To be honest I do not want to see anymore "games of two halves". How about a game where our team SWITCH ON for 90 minutes?

This seriously cannot be too much to ask? Or is it?

Agree that last week updates were delayed and this week it was running 100%…good job tracking the issue down.

The loss of Spencer in the second half changed everything for me because the midfield fell apart when he was subbed. Just got to hope that his injury is not serious.
