Was captain last week, not sure if official captain or not. Brechin doing well in the highland league, I thought they would struggle.

It may be a silly question but why are Brechin in the Highland League?

Because where they are geographically positioned they got to decide whether they play highland or lowland league. I read that they believed that the highland league would provide them with the better (easlier) option in which to get promoted from.

There is no option permitted if you're north of the Tay it's HL, below it's LL

They requested to be placed in the lowland league I'm sure but were rejected.

Maybe that's what I'm mixing up. I just seem to remember that there was some sort of request to play in one league rather than the other.

I had been following the Brechin v Fraserburgh score and just noticed their comeback victory; on further investigation, I discovered Davo was at fault - our gain, is Brechin’s loss!!! ‘Leopards never, change their spots’!

Throw in the Davo OG to make it 4-3 to Fraserborough

He was sent off after the og.
Ended up 5-3 to the Broch.
They can probably give the League title to Fraserburgh now. A free scoring outfit that may well put our British goals for record under severe threat by the season's end.

Which one are you referring to?🤔
North and South both bide in Orkney the last I heard.🙄

(Not putting on the jaicket either. Far too cold and snowy here tonight to be going out at this time of night.)

Scott Barbour has scored over 250 goals in the Highland League. Very impressive and I watched play previously against Deveronvale and he holds the ball up well, is quick and knows where the goal is.
