But he did last 84 minutes SG!! Maybe it’s the red strips? _________________ Here Wee go again |

Like most others, I've slated Davo for his disciplinary record in the past, but given how much of a sick joke his last two red cards were for the Rovers (Todorov playacting and no contact against Hearts, which was rescinded), maybe we should wait and see what happened before passing judgement.
It was a straight red for a foul, so it could have been a case of taking one for the team. _________________ Dougie Hill

With you on this one SG.
I'm not too enamoured with the 'let's all have a go' at the guy. His last two reds were basically wrong but still he was slated. Until we know what happened then no judgement is possible.
I'm still of the opinion that to have played more than 500 times for one club in this day and age is by far a greater achievement that needs to be applauded. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

From the P&B Brechin Thread:
“I take it you haven’t seen the incident because that’s pretty unfair on Davo. Michael Paton played a terrible ball straight to a Cowdenbeath player and he had pretty much no option but to put a challenge in or it was a certain goal. Paton was totally to blame for it.” |

Copied from a poster on the other channel
"Took in the Cowdenbeath Brechin game today. Decent entertainment. Cowdenbeath in total control except for a 20 minute spell and really should have been out of sight. After the equaliser you thought Brechin might snatch it but a stupid (and maybe slightly harsh) red card cost them in the end."
For those on both sides of the debate make what you will of that neutral observation. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Was captain last week, not sure if official captain or not. Brechin doing well in the highland league, I thought they would struggle. |

Sure bigger challenges than Keith Turriff and D/Vale lie ahead but you can only beat what’s in front of you
I expect Brechin to finish around 5th/6th |

It may be a silly question but why are Brechin in the Highland League? |

Because where they are geographically positioned they got to decide whether they play highland or lowland league. I read that they believed that the highland league would provide them with the better (easlier) option in which to get promoted from. |
