That'll be Gordon Wallace the younger, if it's the third from the right

It is from the top left Tom Brown,Donald Urquhart,Tosh McFarlane,Brian Cooper, Willie Brown,Chris Candlish.

Middle, Physio Bob Methven, John Hislop, Jim Taylor, Murray McDermott, Davie Cairns and Bobby Graham

Front row Trainer Willie Benvie, Davy Hunter, John Jobson, Gordon Wallace MKII Ronnie Duncan (On the Wing) and Jim Brown.

Malcolm Robertson was in the 1975-76 promotion winning team that got into the old 1st division, but he had left by the end of that season as did Davie Cairns.

That sort everyone out?

I'm actually trying to find a colour pic of that promotion winning squad, as on page 28 of Rovers Recalled by John Litster.

Blue Laughing

Now get your names to Tam and own one of those fantastic TOFFS limited edition strips.
A change from the Navy Blue, it looks quite fetching in the Royal Blue with white RRFC down the left.

Same here. To all of those with 70's nostalgia - I usually find they are late of the two hoops era and remember the transition to something totally different - get a top they look terrific!

Another two very satisfied customers received their 1970s classic tops last night "Malky-on-the-wing" text me this morning "The tops are first class, my daughter canny wait tae show her pals! Up the retro rovers!"

Malky also wished that the 1948 Cup Final top would be the next classic top, and I agree with him - Awesome!

Still a few left, get your order in quick, its the ideal Christmas pressie for a Rovers mad fan.

PS By coincidence Malky is a plumber and was working in an old house yesterday and under the floorboards he found a battered copy of the Courier dated Saturday, August 30, 1975.

Rovers were playing Stranraer in the old Second Division and the squad that day was McDermott, J. Brown, Cairns, T. Brown, Taylor, Cooper, Robertson, Wallace, Graham, Hunter, Urquhart, Duncan, W. Brown and Jobson. They were playing in the Blue Classic Top.

PPS We drew 3-3 that day, but it was a glorious season when we won promotion and only got beat once by QP at home and it was televised!
