Potential decision on supporters/fixtures at 14:20 today via the Scottish Government. I hope that, if supporters are not able to be there, games can be called off or rearranged. Selfishly the Fife Derby is too big a game to be behind closed doors, its a big financial loss.

Yeah, that'll make a difference, what are clubs going to do? a lottery system for season ticket holders?

The FM is an idiot, if it's that dangerous after Christmas, surely it's dangerous now, why the delay?

So as to not "cancel Christmas" for whatever reason. Hospitality etc needs time to adjust I suppose, announcements made have to give them leeway to make schedule changes and adjustments.

As far as the football is concerned, the SPFL needs to be pushed into postponing the games within this period. The financial impact within this time cannot be overlooked. Fans have just paid out for half year season tickets for example, now they're losing 3 home games between 26th and 16th January.

You can have hundreds at a wedding indoors, but not outdoors at a football stadium.

Well yes, I feel that was a given though.

Always a chance some of our games will be postponed due to weather anyway over the next couple of weeks.

For indoor standing events the limit will be 100; for indoor seated events it will be 200; and for outdoor events it will be 500 seated or standing.

“Physical distancing of 1 metre will be required at events that go ahead within these limits.

“This will of course make sports matches, including football, effectively spectator-free over this three week period.”

Sturgeon

It may mean some clubs will see it as more cost effective to play behind closed doors than opening up a ground for a few hundred supporters

Raith need to take the Half Season Ticket offer off the official site .
Presumably, they could not sell any at this point.

Lets hope some way can be found to postpone upcoming games, especially The Fife Derby.

Strange the decision is made after the cup final, was always on the cards.
Won't ST holders still get Raithtv as we did last season ? Provided Raithtv feel safe enough.

Letting 500 of the Season Ticket Holders in (by ballot, or whatever ) would help the atmosphere but it won't bring in
any extra revenue. In fact, it adds to costs re stewards etc (I say that despite being a STH ).
With Hughes now galvanising the Pars support a bumper crowd might have rolled up on 2nd January.
