Virtually freezing last night 🤓
Teams cancelled each other out last night in a relatively interesting contest. I see if we win the three games in hand - like the Pars - we would be only be 6 points adrift of the flag

Interesting set of fixtures today, I feel we really need 3 points from Alloa

And the other results are draws whats the odds on that lol

I appreciate the sentiments behind this thread, especially when we are challenging in the top half of the league and so we are all keenly keeping our eye on how the Dundees and Pars of this world are doing, in parallel with our own matches.

But really we should all be focusing our total energies on supporting our own team. Suffice to say that, if we win, then everyone else will lose at some point, if only against us. The default should always be that every other result in our league, apart from our own, is a draw. End of story.

the more QOS and Arbroath extend their recent good form, the more solid performances the likes of Alloa put in, then the better for our fortunes and league position, granted. But let's not fret about others' scores, let them worry about us.

As an example, Dundee v Inverness is the only midweek fixture coming up. Do you know what? I really couldn't give a monkeys who wins - default of a draw, as I say, always being the best outcome. Whatever that score, I'll be taking the positive view that neither of them will be within touching distance of us by 10pm on Tuesday night.

Well a Dundee win on Tuesday would mean they would be within touching distance of us by 10pm of that evening because they would only be three points behind us and therefore could be above us in the league by this time next Saturday.

Not looking likely at the moment - although to be fair, Dundee are getting very good at throwing away leads

FT Dundee 2 - ICT 1
An ok result if the perfect one of a draw wasn't to be.
If we are good enough to win on Friday then we can open up a wee gap again. The bonus being that it is another game played in this truncated fixture list.

I was happy enough with a Dundee win. Keeps ICT further out of the mix.

Agreed. In the round, we are better than Dundee and should be able to stay ahead of them with a fair crack of the whip. Also in the round, Caley Jags pump us for fun, so the further behind us they are, the better....

But serious point, it is all hypothetical with a third of matches still to be played.Let's see the shape of things in a month's time, and we can then know better how we want other results to go

Pity the HT results that are currently rolling in are most likely not to be the same at FT.
T'would be a grand day indeed if they did stay the same.😉
Oops! Only just noticed that QoS are now leading 3-2! Would love this to be a draw by FT.

QOS came back from 2-0 down, before half time! Some teams couldn't even come back from 1-0 down at Gayfield by full-time! Rolling Eyes Wink

They're leading 2-3 now, level on points but 3 games ahead.
