Tears and snotters tonight, or, an acceptance that over the Covid called season they just weren't good enough?🤔
I think from all the shenanigans back in April/May we know what the answer to the question is.🙄 _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

I'm glad you clarified the reason for the box of tissues. _________________ Competitive goals: Easton 5, Vaughan 5, Smith 4, Hamilton 2, Dick 1, Gullan 1, Masson 1, Mitchell 1, Mullin 1, Stanton 1, Watson 1, OG's 1, |

No doubt we'll drop to third place tonight after Hearts get a comfortable win over Alloa in the game in hand they have.☹️
ETA 3-0 up with 15 mins to go.☹️
Finishes 3-0 with Boyce having a penalty saved, ordered to be retaken, then hits the bar. We've still the best GD... but only just.🙂 _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Has there ever been a more bland, non-descript fly on the wall football documentary than that effort by the BBC? And in a year which has been more eventful than just about any other?
There was so much potentially explosive issues to cover and they bottled virtually every one.
The biggest stage managed cringe fest was in the first episode when they were sifting through the applicants for the manager's job after Levein was 'moved behind the scenes' and Budge made some comment about all the big names and people with connections to all Europe's leading clubs, then the HR woman replied something like 'that just shows the stature of the club'. 'Up themselves' doesn't do it justice.
However, even four and a bits years on, it raises my hackles to think that someone within Raith Rovers with decision making power thought Gary Locke was even worthy of an interview (which McGlynn was refused), far less deciding to employ him as manager (in preference to Jack Ross).
Wooden doesn't even begin to describe him.
I'd love to know what questions were actually put to him at the interview that he was able to answer in such a way that the panel were convinced by him. _________________ Dougie Hill

Simple question...if, before the season, you were offered third place and best GD after five games, what would you say? |

Would have asked the guys in white coats to be in attendance.
I'm delighted with where we're at.
Just hope that it continues for as long as possible.
A home win against the Pars would be just grand to keep things bubbling along. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Honestly, I’ll take a win over Alloa, a loss to Hearts and at least a point from the Pars and Ayr in the next four. It’s likely 30 points secures at least eighth, and 14 points in the first series of games would be excellent. Yes, it’s a sad comment, but with this shortened season, surviving in the Championship is paramount. |

However, remember Tx we won't be playing Hearts any time soon, not this year, at any rate. What with them running scared and going to the lengths of reaching the Scottish Cup Final just to avoid facing us. |

Hearts are broken which ever way you look at things.😉
It's very satisfying when so called perceived entitlement goes mammaries up!

Apparently Mrs Budge is going to submit proposals to reconstruct the league cup over the next couple of days, so the quarter finals are made up of sixteen teams and Hearts are therefore reinstated. _________________ Dougie Hill

Castle, after all the vitriol directed against Hearts and their owner over the summer, I suspect that
you are mistaken. As for Das Pars, they'll choke sooner or later ,don't worry.....maybe even on Saturday! |
