Surely they have to punt Kennedy also. Their defensive frailties are there for all to see and he must have the biggest input when it comes to that department. |

I'm slightly surprised at the timing of it as I heard a few weeks ago that Lennon was on a huge (seven figure) bonus to win the league this season and if Celtic punted him before it was arithmetically impossible for them to win it, they would be liable to pay him the bonus. _________________ Dougie Hill

Wonder if they will cast the net a bit wider this time, they showed ambition getting Rodgers in but will they do it again? Lampard is free, as is Klinsmann or Vieira, they need a big name to revitalise things there _________________ http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk/ |

Steve Clarke would be someone they'd be interested in.
Would fit the gig in more ways than one. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

They will go down the cheap route, Malky Mackay or dare I say John Kennedy. |

A Celtic fan I know said he would gladly drive Kennedy and his belongings as far from CP as possible but says it wont happen. Lennon wanted his own guys but was lumbered with Kennedy as he's Desmonds Spy in the camp.
Malky would be a good appointment but I reckon publicly he's still toxic.
Eddie Howe is apparently who they all want. _________________ Competitive goals: Easton 5, Vaughan 5, Smith 4, Hamilton 2, Dick 1, Gullan 1, Masson 1, Mitchell 1, Mullin 1, Stanton 1, Watson 1, OG's 1, |

I've read about Howe but I just dont see him being interested. He has a young family and is used to a one team city. Cannot see him wanting to be part of the Glasgow fish bowl where his family will be subjected to abuse on a daily basis. |

Can't see Clarke giving up his cushy wee number to be dumped into such a toxic atmosphere.
As for Mackay, publicly he's 'done his time' but football folks have long memories and he may be too risky for the OF environment.
Kennedy a simple no for many reasons but he might get it as caretaker to the end of season
Howe is a one trick pony, if it ain't Bournemouth he doesn't do well, even blew it with them too.
Could they tempt Martinez from the Belgium job? Publicly Benitez ruled himself out a while back, now Lennon is away that might change.
They need a big name in to turn the club round and I still think Lampard may be not far off _________________ http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk/ |

If anyone receives the e-copy or hard copy of the match programme read Bill Clark's comments on the possibility of division's 1 & 2 being annulled or curtailed justifies my decision on this seasons Peg game being cancelled.
I know I said there would be a seasons hiatus but the review of this is ongoing. _________________ Hope he's got plenty Rovers action to comment on tonight.... |

He has unfortunately, with Ayr game due a week Tuesday then another one in Ayr ten days later.
Whoever takes over will have them fired up to impress his new employers.
Might be a tough gig for us twice round. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!
