The debate on a safe standing area has been on going for a while. If a safe standing area was introduced at Stark's Park where do you think it should be located?

May I be so bold as to suggest using a part of the Railway Stand, or is this a definite no go for obvious reasons that I'm missing totally in identifying?

Mr. Sims has been quite clear that redevelopment of the Railway Stand will involve corporate hospitality or such.

The obvious location is behind the away dugout.

If I didn't miss something on this, I would say that the more standing areas there could be, the more people we would get in. Or might there be a specification?

Room for both in my opinion.
Others closer to the action will no doubt know for certain if it's just ever going to be for hospitality.

It's been said before, cannot remember by whom, but unless the railway stand is rebuild, standing cannot take place there. Something to do with stair height or width. If you look at the seating there, they are not standard seats.

Cheers badpress
That makes sense.
Just need to build up to pitch level and slightly above the old Enclosure space in front of the Main Stand (aka Turnbull Hutton) as it was known in days gone by.

I recall Turnbull Hutton remark that the steps were too steep to be safely used for standing.
