Grant Anderson and Dave Mackay both on board if I'm reading the Twitter teasing correctly.🥴 _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

With mcgurn and Ando back on board, does that mean we will be continuing with the hybride model? |

Money must be really tight , looks like we're going with almost the same team from last season, I await the signing of some new ones |

I'm not really surprised by all the re-signings as money will be in short supply. As time goes on most clubs will adopt the same policy and players will just be grateful of winning a contract.
The best news has to be McDonald extending until 2022. If we can offload Mendy that would help greatly as he's a waste of a wage.
Now, lets get on with signing a forward line. |

MacDonald, agree
Mendy, disagree until we see where he is now
Overall, I’d say we’ve got a solid core of a team that will compete for middle table position in the Championship. As said before, another keeper would be nice, as would a CB, RB, a winger and a striker or two. At a minimum, a striker, and a RB are needed immediately. |

I think once we are confirmed as promoted we'll see a few signings , I'm surprised though that Anderson has been retained as he hardly featured last term.... was he injured ???? |

All the players announced today were renewing contracts, I would imagine all the new faces will come only when their individual contracts end at their previous employers.
I'm delighted most of the league winners have been re-signed, cant think of anything worst than wholesale changes, such tactics have never served us well in the past.
1 keeper, 1 fullback, 1 centre back, 1 winger, 2 strikers required as a minimum. _________________ Competitive goals: Vaughan 5, Smith 4, Easton 3, Hamilton 2, Dick 1, Gullan 1, Masson 1, Mitchell 1, Mullin 1, Stanton 1, Watson 1, OG's 1, |

Keeping a winning squad together may work (only the departed strikers are missing integral parts of last season's team) if we can add some quality ,especially strikers.
However JMcG has virtually no chance of securing new players of the types he wants
until we know the league in which we will be playing.
Pleased Dan Armstrong has re-signed as he was the one player I wanted retained but
thought might go elsewhere.
Gando (or does he now revert to Ando?) played well early season and was never found
wanting when he came off the bench in the latter part of the campaign.
Getting Kieron MacDonald to sign a contract extension is good management. |

Gullan coming back would be brilliant , now that Hibs have Nissi and Gogic before him |
