Our experience with Kevin Nisbet's contract was ,probably, part of the reason that JMcG took a gamble with offering Nando a two-year deal. A gamble which we remain unsure if it will pay off or not- but one of the things I'm looking forward to finding out before Christmas.
I agree with Rovers Man that Nisbet did all he could to get us promoted and wish him well at Hibs ,and, in fact, gives an extra interest in
watching Hibs' performances on Sportscene at a time my own team is not playing. He looks comfortable in the Premier League.
RM was also correct that our defence cost us promotion. More than a slight worry for the step-up and we need to hope that Musonda
is decent or Nando comes good. I wonder if, without Sando, we will try three at the back (hopefully ,three defenders🙄)

On target for Hibs yesterday along with Jamie Gullan in the 2-1 win at Cove.

Speaking to a Pars fan who claims that DAFC will receive an extra £150k if Kevin scores 20 goals this season.
Seems a big additional slice on the original rumoured £250K plus add-ons (eg 15% sell-on),but may be true
as Hibs had, allegedly, offered £350K previously. Anyone know for sure, or differently?
(Wonder if penalties are included? Not least that his pen miss in the Cup Semi-final may yet cost the Pars dear)

They were in for both. Although reported as final offer, i wouldn't shocked to see them try again on Monday.

I can see a possible chain reaction here, involving us. If he goes in the next few hours, the pars will get money from the deal. There maybe a chance that they come in for Reagan Hendry.

With Hendry in the team we could get second place and the prize money that comes with it. Without him....

Hands in a transfer request after being at a club for only 6 months. Good lord. Not convinced he'll be quite as prolific in the Championship, can see him being bullied by some proper defenders. Hope it goes well for him, tantrums aside. Laughing
