I’ll tell you where he is - back at Northampton, on loan! I am at Brackley Town FC for a pre-Season friendly v Northampton and I’ll let you know, how he plays as he is in the starting 11!

Well, the boy hasn’t half become a man - he has really strengthened and grown, from the scrawny 18-year old that left us! Played for an hour but, showed no real goal threat. Northampton ran out 1-3 winners, in the end but for teams 4-tiers apart, the gulf wasn’t really obvious!

Watching Scotland U-21 v Hungary U-21 and after 7 minutes, ‘Ziggy’ has scored twice and has us 2 ahead - the first one, a run from the half-way line!

*Just watched the goals…”Solo run from own half” certainly sounds better than “a wee bit lucky, couple of dodgy touches, aided by atrocious defending”. Both are accurate!

Two cracking goals by a local lad,possibly developing into a future national hero. But cautioning myself as I recall another Kirkcaldy boy , Ollie Burke, scoring one similar to the first for the U21s a few years back.

Read a quote from Scott Gemmill post match and in it he mentions that Ziggy has become a father in the last few months. Can only but send best wishes to everyone. It would be rude not to.☺️
Apparently he’s working under the tutelage of Colin Calderwood and others at Northampton and making big strides in improving his all round game having moved up a division from last season.
All news to me but probably not to most of you 🙄
