The pinnacle of reliability...I’ve heard Jan 6, 13 or 20 for the loan end date. No news from either Kelty or Raith. |

Fernandy is a riddle wrapped up in a mystery inside an enigma!
Player aged 25 apparently an amateur in the fourth tier of French football and not picked by any higher league
team in France ,appears in Scotland and signed on a two year fulltime contract.
Hailed as the new Marvin Andrews and performs creditably in pre-season friendlies at SP.
Comes over in interviews as a nice, friendly, confident guy. One the supporters would be happy to adopt as a cult figure.
Handed a start for The Rovers and looks like a rabbit caught in headlights. Then shows no tactical nous
against ICT ( and discovered that Davo has a temper!) Thereafter reported as suffering from concussion.
Next thing ,off to Lowland League Kelty Hearts on loan.
One of that type, great on the training pitch but can't translate it into a competitive match?
All came too quickly for him in a foreign culture and he can still come good, given time?
Turned 26 today but a late developer ?
It would take one of these guys from Death In Paradise to work this one out |

One of my work colleagues is an SFA ref who was doing a Kelty game a few weeks back, he said Mendy was outstanding for 89 minutes before he almost gifted the opposition a goal with a poor back pass. Was impressive otherwise I believe |

According to the boss in his interview yesterday, Mendy is indeed back with us, due to the long term injury to Steven Anderson, he felt he had to recall him. Now lets see if he repays big John's faith in him |

Guinea-Bissau won 3-1 against Eswatini in their AFCON qualifier today and will qualify for the tournament proper should they beat Congo on Tuesday. Anyone know if Nando featured? |

Have a wee look in Football in General forum.
There's a new post been started about Guinea Bissau which might be of interest.🤔 _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Gutted to see him leave. Never really got a fair crack off the whip. His performance on Saturday showed that there’s a good quality player in there. Maybe just needed a bit more time. |

Always wanted him to come good, just a pity he left it till the last game , wish him all the best wherever he ends up.
Maybe the Fife will suit him or even back to Kelty |

It's pity as the man was simply born to cult hero.....somewhere. Yes it's a shame it wont be with us but at the grand old age of 27 he is raw at times and still lacks some of the basics. With that in mind the thinking will be that he wont be up to the standard of a back up squad player such as we'll need going forward. Had we still been in Div 1 then I'd like to think we would have kept him on but we're guddlin wi bigger fish now. Good luck to him I hope he stays in Scottish football, I'm sure he'll look upon his time in Kirkcaldy as being beneficial to him. _________________ Competitive goals: Easton 5, Vaughan 5, Smith 4, Hamilton 2, Dick 1, Gullan 1, Masson 1, Mitchell 1, Mullin 1, Stanton 1, Watson 1, OG's 1, |

Mendy for Alloa?
His old Boss Barry Ferguson held him in high esteem.
He had a really good game for us in our last game against Dundee and it's unlikely he'll have to play against the Hertz this year
It's a possibility? |

Honestly, he’ll likely do fine anywhere in League One or Two. Kelty knows him, Alloa is a decent shout, heck, Falkirk needs defenders too… |
