QP at Hampden must have been a Scottish Cup game.
Reasons being it's winter. We were still in old Div1 in 1960. QP were relegated from top league in 1958 (along with Methil men) and have never been in top league since.
Lastly I'm too lazy to go look up date and score!
Second picture. Any sign of wee Wullie? _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Ouch!
Thanks for checking it out, Barney.
There's a good look of Baxter about the player where the ball is and similarly Jim Thorburn in nearest goal.
I may, however, be fantasising! _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Judging by the haircut, possibly a player with the nickname of ‘helmet’? Real name Iain Sinclair? Or not. Too long ago. |

Thanks for the reply.
Re. the haircut, I thought it was an homage to Moe from the 3 Stooges. _________________ Hope he's got plenty Rovers action to comment on tonight.... |

Colin Sinclair.
My first thought was George Falconer aka Podge but too tall maybe for him?
The days before the yellow jaickets though.
Observe the track side Plod tucked below Kai's oxter.
Them were the days, indeed. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!
