Ah I see, you just wanted us to lose so that it would put pressure on the board... Think of the pressure that it's released that we won! The fact that we're now second top and baring down on Arbroath. If we'd lost we'd have been well off the top spot and we wouldn't have a manager... I like the sound of that much better.

Barry Smiths tactics seem to be doing awful well considering. His record speaks for itself. Maybe have a little look at how things have worked out; have we lost a game this season under these shocking tactics? Granted we've conceded a few more goals and dropped points at home to East Fife but his team, his tactics and his style of play haven't actually let him down so far so I don't see what all the fuss is about.

You're clearly just an angry cretin that needs to have something to slaver pish about or you'd end up internally combusting. The 10 men on the park were mostly his signings and are responding to his training and ethos. He made the changes today, got the messages on the pitch and his players delivered. By the sounds of it, he did his job today and got the result.

A win next weekend and you'll be even more seething. Brilliant.

I guessed correctly the one and only Superhans , a prize pillock of the highest order.

why is it that every time someone stands up to you fire him merchants you all get personal. as i said a few weeks ago, this isnt a soccer forum, its a anarchist forum.

Oh be fair read the rest of the P&B posts, it's not just Armagh Rover, even opposition fans can see him for what he is and have been calling him out on it.

Careful Chris , folk might get the impression you and he are one and the same lol
And considering you were calling for him to go at 3-1 down yesterday you became one of the fire him merchants as well
Wink Laughing

I had to suffer some bad play by us and add that to i was reading posts on fantalk and p&b at the sdamt ime. It just all got to me If it hadnt been for my wife my computer would have sailed over the balcony.

Just watched the highlights.

I’ll not talk about the first half as I want to stay positive. What was the most pleasing thing to see was the way the players celebrated with the fans at the end. Hopefully that should give us a platform to build on moving forward. When the rovers beat Aberdeen that night, totally against the odds, it seemed to bring the players and fans closer together. I’m not saying yesterday should be directly compared to that but to be 3-1 down with 4 minutes (9 including stoppage) and win 4-3 is an incredible effort, even more so with 10 men. Hopefully that gives us all the lift we needed and allows us to forget about the disappointment of last season.

I also thought Nisbet took the third goal particularly well. We may have found a gem there!

He should have been accompanied down the tunnel with the Airdrie goalkeeper!
What was that all about?
Total disgrace in my opinion.

What am i actually seeing with the winning goal? I have no doubt Buchanan must have scored it but to me he doesn't ever touch the ball when it is crossed in? I am watching on my phone so maybe it's just not a great angle or view.

MacKay was bullied by Jonny Court last weekend and had an absolute shocker at Stranraer on the opening day of the season (remember their goal!!) so for people to say he has been our best CB this season says it all.

Thanks for that Wolfie but now I am questioning my sanity! Liam Buchanan is our number 9 right? Shorter than average gentleman with a beard right? Either way I don't see whoever is wearing number 9 getting anywhere near the cross.

I was up at the cove game and he played like an 8 year old. However the whole played likewise.

Okay I see what's happened now. The scores that I checked yesterday all said Buchanan got the winner as did Airdrie TV when I watched the highlights but having checked the Raith website I now see that Gillespie got two as well.

By the way that Airdrie player who scored two looks like a real find.

Didn't we think the same last year and signed their best player from them, when they went part time, Willis Furtado, and he was less than impressive for us ?
