Never been either but surely the stands can’t be further from the pitch than the stands behind the goals at Hampden?

Which one?

Only the third one.
From 1903 onwards.
The two before don't count.

why cant we just play at different grounds across the country depending on the potential size of the crowd? Celtic Park, Ibrox or Murrayfield if a major competitive tie or perhaps Tyncastle, Easter Road or Tannadice for a friendly? Why do we have to have a "home" for Scotland when the whole country should be able to follow them and perhaps have easier access to a "home" game?

Works for Spain and Germany.............

Think many including myself have issues regarding gving celtic and rangers any more money for renting their stadiums.Believe they have charged a fortune in the past for gamrs played at their stadiums especially Scotland games.Cup finals/ semi finals involving the OF,where do you play them especially if Mrrayfield isnt available.?

Besides SFA have already said going its either staying put or Murrayfield and whichever they choose i,m sure they,ll still go rond the grounds for games unlikely to draw a good attendance

D Day.Shockarooni

SFA delay the decision as require additional information from both parties. What more information do they need, discussions and presentations have been ongoing for months hence convening a meeting today for the blazers to make the decision Rolling Eyes

It's quite obvious they're going to stay at Hampden.

All this posturing and delaying is with a view to how much they can screw Queens Park over the lease / rent / ownership etc.

Thats basically it in a nutshell leasing/ renting Hampden does not come into the equation its all about buying Hampden by the SFA.Belive Queens Park have agreed in principal on selling to SFA,stumbling block is price

SFA want it for 2 mill,Queens want more
