Well done to the club for developing this initiative. If it works well it could be a great way of improving the match experience for the younger generation in particular and hopefully keep them coming back. _________________ If I were a fighter I'd probably kick your ass. |

Unless its a disguised swipe at saying how bad 90 mins of watching the Rovers are that you need to be on your phone all the time.
Interesting idea...hope its a success..good way to engage the fan base at certain points in the afternoon on match day.
Well done Rovers! Innovative. |

Downloaded it there. Nice little penalties game with the keeper looking a little bit like a certain mascot from down the road - nice touch!
The really interesting part is the interactive match day stuff. Will be interesting to see how well it works. Maybe it could be used in future for the fans to decide when and who to sub?
Great to see the club try something risky and innovative. Can see other clubs following their lead if it's successful. |

Quote: | If you’ve got an Apple Device, the app is now available to download. Just search for “Raith Rovers Matchday App” in the app store. Android device owners need to wait a bit longer – we’re just waiting for it to propagate through to the Google Play store, but it should be online tomorrow. |

Apologies, I was pretty sure when i read online last night the "we’re just waiting for it to propagate through to the Google Play store, but it should be online tomorrow." bit wasn't there, hence i said to my daughter oh it'll be a while before everyone can use the app. |

That penalty kick game is highly addictive. Decent wee app, looking forward to trying out the interactive bits tomorrow at the game. |

The app looks pretty impressive. Especially like the Sammy the Tammy goalkeeper. _________________ If I were a fighter I'd probably kick your ass. |

Just downloaded the app from Google Play Store and mighty impressive. The goal scoring game is brilliant. Managed a score of 9 and had to miss a couple to see what Roary's reaction was! Keeper was a bit guff or else my goal scoring predatory instincts from near pre-history are still lurking. It's true. Once you have it you never lose it!
Congratulations to everyone involved with this great development. Something to be very proud of. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

It's scarily realistic. Especially the position of the barriiers - almost identical to how Rovers have been lining up walls over the last few seasons. _________________ Dougie Hill

The only thing I don't like about the app is the chance to vote for man of the match apart from that it seems a great idea. _________________ YOULL NEVER WALK ALONE

Spoke to Ali Moore after the game, I suggested that for a £5 or £10 donation to club funds, fans could submit a selfie and have their faces superimposed on the crowds in the stands in the game. I was told it was doable by one of the Tag guys and though it might add a novel twist to the game.
Be interested to know what you all think. _________________ http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk/ |
