Typical that those sort of goals were nowhere to be seen when he played for us. _________________ If I were a fighter I'd probably kick your ass. |

Actually I thought Ryan scored some great goals for us and important ones as well. I would have had Ryan back on a heart beat.
We, as we play now didn't support Ryan to get even better performances from him |

This - I'd bin buchanan for him in a heartbeat. An under rated striker. |

Maybe if he had been able to take a penalty we wouldn't have ended up down here. _________________ If I were a fighter I'd probably kick your ass. |

Maybe if he hadn`t scored in ET we may not have got to penalties. |

Or if he hadn't missed a sitter at Brechin in the first leg to put us 2-1 up etc etc
We could go on forever but there's no doubting that he wasn't interested last season and, as Hughes alluded to more than once, didn't have the stomach for the battle we were in. Just like his wee pal Jordan Thompson. _________________ If I were a fighter I'd probably kick your ass. |

I thought Hardie was excellent for us overall.
If I were to compile a list of those I hold responsible for last season's debacle, he wouldn't make the top 40.
If his impact wasn't quite as great last season it's probably because instead of being supplied by Craigen, Connolly and Longridge, he had Chris Johnston, Rudi Skacel and the aforementioned Jordan Thompson for company.
He also appears to be a very decent, level headed laddie.
My son said he always put off time with the ballboys and had no big ego (in other words, the polar opposite of Barrie Mackay).
I hope he goes on to have a successful career, although preferably down south rather than with the vile mob he's currently contracted to. _________________ Dougie Hill

Don't think we would be entitled to anything. I might be wrong but I think a development fee only gets paid when a young players moves to England when contract expires.
My understanding is that Blackpool signed him whilst he was under contract and therefore paid a transfer fee to Sevco. |

The Development fee is specific to age (23 IIRC)
See the Harvey Swann fiasco, Stenhousemuir announced that they had signed him, Harvey though he was signed, however when Cowdenbeath informed them a fee was due the deal fell through and Harvey remains a Cowdenbeath player. _________________ Hope he's got plenty Rovers action to comment on tonight.... |

Gooodwilie was sold by Dundee United to Blackburn while still under contract and we got a few grand (5?) by way of a development fee. _________________ Dougie Hill
