I hope that has signalled a change in attitude and if it has, long may it continue. |
Looks like he won’t be playing against Ayr on Saturday, as Hearts have issued a statement saying they have recalled him to fly out to Spain tomorrow morning for their warm weather training to assess his progress - “Dario Zanatta, Harry Paton and Marcus Godinho have all returned from loan spells at Raith Rovers, Stenhousemuir and Berwick Rangers respectively, and will travel with the first-team squad tomorrow“. |

Sods law, the club put up a Tweet with a video of Zanatta urging people to come out for the Ayr game and less than 24 hours later he's away back to Hearts |

Just as Zanatte was starting to perform & give us option up top & out wide, he's recalled.
Why didn't we have a no recall clause in place with the sell of Callachan in the deal.
Looks like Smith will have to look for a replacement unless the young lad Hendry can slot straight in. _________________ Let's get right behind the Rovers!... |

Maybe, just maybe BS "new" that Dario was heading back to Hearts, hence the arrival of Hendry. Just a thought. _________________ Keeping the Faith (and the Missionary work!) |

Thought Hendry was a centre mid?
Is B Barr anywhere near fitness?
Bit of a shame, Dario was finally finding his stride |

Considering the club did a promotional tweet yesterday for the game featuring Zannatta I would say it's fair to say this has been an unexpected development.
Hendry doesn't even play in the same position. _________________ If I were a fighter I'd probably kick your ass. |

True!..
Hendry has played out wide but this was under20s, so maybe not his best position with or or maybe!???
If Hendry can't play out wide & Barr isn't fit, why not play Osei out wide right midfield & move Mathews into CM with Robertson as this is a more natural balance & then move Vaughan across to LM. I know it's not ideal but we're lacking in wide areas now with Zanatta going back, Barr still out & Mchattie still injured.
BS really needs to earn his wage here & look to bring a natural winger in along with a defender
Anyone know the real position or positions of the guy Barrow, maybe on a short term deal if he's a defender or a wide player to see what he has? I not much point if he's a CM unless we have another departure of Vaughan in the very near future... _________________ Let's get right behind the Rovers!... |

Sorry for digging up the past, but when Vaughn went to Dumbarton, there was a clause that said we could not recall him. Zanatta couldn't get off the starting blocks for a while, when he came. Then he turns the corner and Hearts recall him! We still don't seem to drive too hard a bargain.
I had thought Zanatta was part of the Callachan deal. Seemingly not. |

Don't know the ins and outs of it but I read somewhere that we got him on a development player loan and that meant Hearts were within their right to call him back anytime?? ? Anyway no point in getting our knickers in a twist, we'll just have to buckle down and do what we've been doing at home all season. Get the three points. C'mon the Rovers! |

We need to stop with the loan signings. Developing other teams players so they can recall when they want leaving us *Bleep* creak. At the very minimum only sign with the clause cannot re-call until deal expires.
Hearts really went down in my estimation. They got Rossco for peanuts cos of our spineless board and I'd have thought Hearts mite have done us a favour and left him at Raith till season end.
But no.........next time hold out for a tribuneral fee instead of giving away our talent.
Getting sick of it.....
Bates first Cal next...Zanatta is just salt in the *beep* wound. |

There are a few people on here suddenly changing their tune about zanatta. Only a couple of weeks ago certain people were going on about cutting his loan deal short- well they have got their wish!!!!!
As I have previously said, with the way we play and Barr being out, he was the only attacking player that gave us width.
Not sure if Hendry can play there, during interview he said he was an attacking centre mid. The boy barrow might get named as a trialist, I'm sure they can be ñamed so for 3 games.
From what I have seen of osei he offers very little, although he's not had much of a chance. |

A half decent player over his time with us, though never quite looked as if he was giving 100% effort. |
