You've got to be kidding!
Son of the father! Well I'd never have had him on the list as an EPL Scottish medal winner.
I thought maybe WGS had sneaked one at United but obviously not with that revelation. Must have been at Leeds by then?
I'd forgotten totally about the broken leg at Blackburn and didn't realise it was that season with the SAS up front when they won the title. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Yep Darren Ferguson actually played in the first fifteen league games for Utd the season they won the first ever Premier League. Strachan had won the last ever old style First Division the year before with Leeds. _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

Cheers Castle.
So that's Brian McClair, Darren Fletcher, and unbelievably Darren Ferguson along with Colin Hendry.
Always thought Kevin Gallagher had one but now that you mentioned his broken leg was in the title winning season..... I live and learn. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Not got a clue but will try a semi educated guess and say he played for either Chelsea or Leicester as both had more than a fair variety of nationalities in their line ups. But I suppose, so do Man City but nothing remotely Jamaican comes to mind with them. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

He does indeed play for one of the teams you've listed Embow |

Is it some third choice keeper? The rules are more relaxed on how many appearances they have to make.
My wife went somewhere in the Caribbean once for holiday. Jamaica? No she went on her own accord. _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

Yeah, Wes Morgan. He decided to switch after realising he would never get English caps. |

I take it you never considered Richard Gough as being Scottish? _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

Yes, don’t you?
Arguements can be made obviously but Gough has a Scottish father (Shaun Maloney similarly with his Scottish mother)
Aiden McGeady and James McCarthy are born in Scotland to Scottish parents but choose to play for another Country through their grandparents, doesn’t make them Irish does it? Irish heritage? of course...McCarthy was quoted in an interview a few years back saying just that, he was Scottish but proud to play for Ireland.
Sterling is a completely different kettle of fish... Jamaican father, Jamaican mother, born in Jamaica, no family ties to England what so ever, just happened to move there out of chance as a kid. I’ve no issues with him playing for England but anyone would be hard pushed to say he isn’t Jamaican first before anything else when not talking about football. |

I worked with a Lithuanian man and his wife was also Lithuanian. His child was born in Scotland but he claimed they were 100% Lithuanian. It appears that the rules on nationality are flexible and optional.
Look at rugby and cricket......
Anyway, what has all this got to do with the English Football Season? |

We are discussing nationalities of people who have won premier league.
Basically, Wes Morgan is an Englishman who played for Jamaica and won it while Sterling is a Jamaican who plays for England and won it! |
