To be honest I'm not surprised. I think it's been on the cards for a while.
Three Orient stalwarts including Steve Jenkins the club's historian, were at Contalmaison for the ceremony to lay a club wreath. It took a bit of persuasion to get them to hang around for some refreshments as they thought they were intruding but we got there with them 😄.
Orient has it own club memorial further along the Somme.
Maybe the Rovers could also be included and have a friendly against the Orient as part of its "Scottish tour"?
The again, we could well be Canary Islands bound at that time!😄

Am not too sure this will come off. The expense of chartered flighte possibly, around 25 players/staff hotels etc.

However, should the unthinkable happen and we somehow achieve promotion, this would be an excellent pre-season training camp.
