Unbelievable penalty shootout!
Ross Laidlaw the hero.
Thistle have massively Hibs'd it!
Double drams being downed in Dingwall tonight!🥃🥃

Another goal for Thistle (unless County get one back which seems unlikely) then I suspect it's already all over before it's really got underway.
ETA. Thistle should have finished the tie tonight.
County have to thank our former keeper for keeping them in the game.
Next goal is now obviously crucial to the outcome.

🤓
Don’t usually quote but so many wrote off County - with the added caveat for Embow that he really wasn’t sure of the outcome. Always hoped like SG that the Jags would stay down for potential income - £10000 or more per game at SP v £1000 for the stagggies. Great Sunday entertainment though 🤓

Quite happy with that. Think County can thank big Laidlaw.

Thistle 3 nil up and partying, get it right up them.

I'd forgotten about trying to predict something as crazy as Championship fitba'😄
Ach well! I was correct up to 19 minutes left in the tie.😂😂😂
Wonder if our games versus Thistle will be Category A like the Pars and United?

Hopefully this'll spook Partick all summer and they suffer a real hangover at the start of next season.

Well that improves our chances of finishing top four but continues to show that getting to the playoff really leaves you with little chance of actually getting promoted.

I'll need to disagree up to a point with you Castle.
Thistle should have won the tie over the two legs. They had plenty of chances but simply blew it.
Nerves? Or did they think with nineteen minutes to go it was in the bank and took the foot off the gas?
Well never know. County certainly kept going despite being three down.
They finished in the last play off spot and had the most games to play to qualify and almost got there.

See these Thomsons and penalty coaching 😄
Quote from Ross Laidlaw on BBC Scotland
"On his penalty heroics, he pays tribute to his goalkeeping coach Scott Thomson, who did "a lot of hard work".
Like father like son 😂

As I understand it they had to rejigger contracts to expire June 5-6 to even field a team…and only some 7 players are signed for next year. Just musing, but it’s entirely possible we have an incoming player(s) from Plastic…just saying.

Raith and Raith fans are the last to be able to criticise a team that blows a three ( or more !) lead with the minutes seemingly running down. Wink

Was some end to the tie. Thistle certainly blew it big time, talk about snatching defeat from the jaws of victory!

Most, although not all, of the lay-bys on the A9 have bins.
