A modern-day footballer who doesn't spend his time on Twitter? How refreshing; we should extend his contract even further regardless of injury. More brains than most, clearly.

Agree - to be honest most modern day footballers do not actually say much. The Rovers lads tend only to re-tweet good stuff...e.g if they are in the team of the week etc etc. These guys will be told - say nothing to nobody...it's not worth the hassle.

ACL - 9 months out, what a blow for the lad, can only hope his recovery goes as well as it can.

Yet another injury blow for Vaughan. It's just another kick in the teeth for both player and club. It would seem that LV has the same problem as Craig Barr, good player but his body just can't handle professional football. Far too many injuries/operations for someone so young.

If it's the same knee, this may well be the end of his career Crying or Very sad

Said on P&B, he's had one season where he's managed to get a consistent run of games without injury and he relegated us because of one of the most stupid decisions in the history of the club.

For all the talk of the injuries on astroturf, it's a grass pitch which has caused this.

It’s not - right knee in 2015, left knee last weekend.

I'd have gladly gave up on promotion this year if it meant Lewis didn't get this injury. Without our best player by far our chances have all but vanished anyway.

Truly gutted for the lad - he appears to be a model professional and I'm sure all at the club will rally round and hopefully he will get over this one and enjoy a successful career.

I was down at the club earlier in the week picking up my tickets. Whilst doing so I seen all the players walking around the ground in their training gear. One of which was Vaughan, who seemed in good spirits.

Is maybe his knee not as bad as first thought?

Was there ever a statement from the club? (Genuine question). Smile

I believe he is having his op soon & Rovers hope he will be back playing in October but this depends on how his rehabilitation goes. It could be the end of this year.
