Can't say I'm surprised but Skacels on an easy ride & has been for the whole season, but I know we don't see what he brings to the squad behind closed doors.
B. Barr disruptive - Nooo
That will be why Hughes has benched him but it's not helping, playing the wrong formation, with wrong tactics with players out of position & no width.
Just leave now Hughes & we may have a chance of staying up!... |

Also, Rudi is on £1,700 per week with sponsors paying £1,000 of it,Bobby Barr is disruptive ( no surprise there) and it was the BoD's who took the decision to loan Vaughan to Dumbarton hoping that he would take points from our rivals. Throw in the Locke & Jackson appointment and the David Bates transfer to Rangers and this season must be one of the worst in the entire history of the club. No wonder the Kirkcaldy public fail to turn up regularly.

What a lot of keeich. Even BBC employees talk garbage.
Does anyone seriously believe Raith could afford anyone at even £700 per week to sit on the bench all season? If it is true which I seriously doubt I think the sponsors might have pulled the plug on that kind of money 6 months ago. |

You forgot to mention the bit about signing Skacel to attract Hearts fans to Starks Park when they weren't playing at home that day. _________________ Dougie Hill

The way this season has gone I would quite believe our BoD paying out £700 per week for Rudi. He was seen as a high profile signing who would put bums on seats. Another crazy decision given that he only played 3 games in the previous 3 seasons.
Also, the BBC employee was a Rovers fan who we've all heard of,not some random hack trying to stir up a storm. |

That'll be the same BBC employee who was reporting on the Pars game then.
Its nobodies business what Skacel or anyone else gets paid.
Bobby Barr being disruptive - you don't say.
John Hughes won't be here next season - no sh!t Sherlock that took some working out glad he's got the inside track. |

If we are paying £700 towards Skacel's wages then it's fairly scandalous. I thought his wages were all being paid by a third party. _________________ This is the year we win the Play-offs. |

makes you wonder if that's part of the reason the rest of the players don't give a *bleep* about the club |

I disagree. As a shareholder, albeit a very minor one, I think the wage structure and wage bill is my business.
It's very naive to imagine that Skacel's wage packet won't cause unrest in the dressing room. You have guys contributing to the cause (some more than others admittedly) earning probably less than half of a player who has contributed little or nothing. _________________ Dougie Hill

considering they only officially train 10 till 12, and do 2 hours work a day.. seems not a bad lift... |

Having watched most of our matches this season I refuse to believe that squad train 2 hours a day. _________________ If I were a fighter I'd probably kick your ass. |

I highly doubt anybody at Raith Rovers, sponsored or not, is getting £80k per annum plus.l |
