Well said Embo. Although it’s been terrible not being able to go to games, especially when the team has done so well, the bonus for us exiles, is that we have been able to see more games than we would normally be able to attend. When football first started on tv without crowds, I wasn’t interested very much, but got very involved with the Rovers games. While much of the interest and excitement was because of how well the team was doing, the contribution of all those stalwarts involved with Raith TV, made it possible for us all to be involved, interested and supportive. Thank you to you all, have a good break, and I, for one, look forward to the opportunity to enjoy the games through the Tv or radio, whichever is available next season. All the best lads!

110% agree. Magnificent coverage this year, despite all the hassles, worries and troubles.

I'd like to add my thanks and appreciation to all at Raith TV. The coverage has been a true godsend during this awful lockdown. Watching the Rovers (every game-home and away) has honestly been the highlight of my weeks. At this time, it might be appropriate to review the 'performances' of other streaming services/commentaries. For what it's worth, here's my thoughts:-

WORST-1. Who else but the Pars! Effusively and sickeningly partisan. A shame, because I have met Jordan Burt, and there is much to admire about the guy away from football. 2. And it's close-ICT-smarmy little git. 3. Ayr-awful. 4. Arbroath-the 'fairmer' is a joke. His teuchter accent is false; his anecdotes are puerile, and his final statement "Raith are famous for lino making" summed him up for me.
NEUTRAL-a) Hearts, but only just. b) Dundee-ditto.
GOOD-i) QOS-thoroughly decent guys. ii) Morton-v. complimentary to us, apart from re-christening our no. 32 'GOOLAN'! iii) Alloa-again, pretty fair and unbiased. iv) Cowdenbeath-decent commentary and excellent visuals.
BRICKBAT-'Mikey' Stewart. Is he in love with Charlie Adam?

Finally, a wee word of disagreement (friendly) with Davie and Niall. I watched every game on a Smart TV. Some passed without a blip, the Inverness away game had the longest break, but those on Raith TV were far and away the most frequent-ironic, as I can see the floodlights from where I'm sitting. Thanks again to all at the club for a wonderful season-I can't wait to be back in the South Stand for more silky soccer!

I wish I knew why some of our home games were so blighted by buffering. I watched most games in my house with good internet speeds (Virgin Media 100meg) and have to say the ones that I suffered most with were by some distance our own Crying or Very sad

Even some home games watched at my work offshore (where the wifi can be iffy) were the same yet eg both away games at Alloa were flawless.

I thought the two/three cameras used at Cappielow were awful especially as the contrast between them was so poor and the el-cheapo cameras at ICT were a joke as the aperture couldn't seem to adjust from the areas of pitch in bright sunshine to those in shade. A special mention to Arbroath where the pixillation was at time dreadful. All the rest were fairly decent picture wise although as mentioned above some of the commentators were rank rotten.

Pars coverage was decent but the commentary was ridiculously biased. I though Alloa and QOS was good too. However, Raith TV excelled over the lot of them. The replays,coverage, commentary and half time interviews were fantastic. Thanks for all your efforts Raith TV team

The fermer at Arbroath was brilliant biased as anything but he loved his team. Very Happy

Also agree. With westover. The fairmer should be put out to pasture, in a field far away where no one can hear his lame jokes. Does like his own team though; all good with that.

Is it just me or is the audio on the Matej Poplatnik interview really low? Not sure if its just that he's softly spoken or that the microphone was too far away but its fairly difficult to pick it up.

Let me start this by stating that i think that RaithTV is the best of the club-run TV packages that I have seen in the Championship. The coverage over the lockdown season was second to none with fans of other teams jealous over the service they were providing to Raith fans.

BUT

I’m kinda getting the feeling that the interviews with the gaffer are unbelievably predictable and never really ask any probing questions. We let Keatings go, apparently for good reason. What about the update on a potential replacement? We’ve lost Fotheringham, surely now we’re close to the bone in terms of squad depth? I know we are out with the transfer window and the dates for loans has lapsed but is there any chance of any replacements at all? Free agents, trialists etc?

I just feel in general that I watch the interviews looking for a wee bit info and it seems if it’s a harder question to ask it doesn’t get asked. Is it just me?

Again, RaithTV do a great job and I’m delighted we have them. I just feel the interviews could maybe ask what’s going on with these issues.

Coach.............. I suspect (but clearly don't know) that questions to the gaffer will have been agreed and vetted prior to the interview thereby avoiding anything awkward or embarrassing. However I sort of agree that some stuff/statement should/could have been prepared in advance.
