If we beat them again do we get to keep them.

Considering they beat us a couple of weeks ago and had what seems like a more experienced side out that's a good result tonight.

No idea, but I've no doubt the Pars section would be rammed full and they'll be reporting us to HMRC for understating the crowd again.

Well I suppose that's where you keep tools! Wink
Back on topic, anyone any idea who any of the trialists might have been and any real standouts among them?

Trialist number 14 seems to be getting a bit of praise on DAFC.net.

No names though.

A more experienced looking Dunfermline team started with welderburn in centre midfield and El Al ....up front. Raith team looked much younger in general and pars had most of the possession although other than the goal, a free kick into the edge of the box flicked on and over the head of the keeper, did not create too much but more than we did, although raith started off with court and awe up front but had to change it early on after awe went off injured and played one up front which encouraged pars to have more possession! Pars probably deserved lead at half time but raith came out fighting in the second half and with our Danish chappie pushed into the whole behind court and court finally using his size raith looked a different team and started causing the pars problems. Wedderburn in midfield began to tire, must be a stone overweight and looks miles away from first team, although thought he looked a poor spicimen for a footballer, more like an overweight heavyweight boxer . Anyway goal had to come and eventually did with flowing run and great finish fron our Great Dane! He really looks a prospect and best man on the park imo! Game began go swing both ways and either could have won but raith looked far better in the second half and played some good football. A number if good performances. wedderburn was eventually hooked and looked knackered, el al - can't see him getting a deal for pars with that performance and was booked fir diving in the box trying to win penalty! Other than our one missed penalty the others were well struck. I would guess about 400-500 or so at the game all in the main stand! Raith lost 3-1 to pars recently so good improvement

The boy Wedderburn has already signed for them. Sounds like a good result for ourselves!
