Murray was right in his pre match interview, he DID give me an early Xmas present. Was all over the evens for Hibs, bet them -1 goal too. Cheers Bert and our ropey defence, Merry Christmas.

Same bets for me sees me £115 up, plus saved £15 in fuel, and didn't have to sit through the inevitable. It's easy money folks.

That's paid for half my season ticket! - now, get lost Murray - so I can actually use the other half of it.

I won't be back otherwise.

I made 160 quid on our game plus a bet of Charlie Austin anytime, Harry Kane anytime, Hibs win and waiting on Sanchez anytime 2moro for arsenal for another 200 odd.

Doesn't sound like we were at our worst today, still no points, still another home defeat, still sounds like we lost goals that were more than avoidable (ie not learning from mistakes as Murray claims we will time and time and time again) Still got a useless manager.

Gutsy performance by the Rovers today up until 60mins. I thought the marking by Thomson, McKay, McKweon and Conroy down the flanks was woeful, especially in the first half.
Same old defensive lapses, closing down, tackling and marking led to Hibs goals.
We were crying out for changes after 60minutes when Hibs came more into the game, but as usual had to wait until 3-1 down before a sub came on.
Thought the centre midfield had more bite with Callachan an Scott putting in some useful challenges.
With Cowden picking up 3pts and closing the gap on us now, the countdown is well and truly on now!

Roary handing out Celebrations.....what were the BoD thinking. Was it to celebrate Alan Young's chairmanship?

Thought we were ok, watching from the Main Stand for a change, but same woeful defending, with the Witch keeping us in the game until Hibs got their second. We should not have scored, Oxley was badly at fault for McKay's near post shot.

Watson and McKeown have been awful defensively all season. Thomson is still good going forwards but his defending hasn't been good (really never has been) and Hill is feeling his way back. We realistically haven't got many options left, could bring in Barr alongside Hill, but it would be a new partnership and doesn't account for the full backs. We aren't going to improve defensively for the rest of the season. That is all down to Murray, he can't organise his defence even though he used to be a reasonable defender.

The only players worthy of a mention are McGurn, Stewart, McKay, Scott and Callachan, they gave their all, but others were sadly posted missing for most, if not all match. Again, down to Murray.

Hasten to add, we now have the joint worst defensive record in the Championship, 36 goals conceded in 17 matches, equal with Cowdenbeath.

That's pretty much how I saw it. Although I'd add that Watson was atrocious today.

That game was there for the winning to be honest but once we went 2-1 down we chucked in the towel.

A big improvement in performance but its still way short of how we were going to win the game and what we expect from a Rovers side.

I thought at 1-1 we were edging it but never created good goal scoring opportunities.

Having said an improvement in the performance there were so many mistakes made all over the park and obviously the imbecile of a manager hasn't a clue about tactics.

Hibs had players playing wide all day long and still our defenders lacked the ability to close them down and make TACKLES. Meanwhile fud manager hasn't told the teh defenders to close them down.

Hibs meanwhile made two substitutions as their manager was going for a win.

Our Fud of manager remained clueless and the inevitable happened.

GET OUT MURRAY

Agree with most,improved performance which being honest wouldn,t be hard but still not great.Thought we were relatively poor in the first half again with Hibs ripping us a new one down the flanks especially our left hand side.McKweon and Conroy,oh dear.Hibs could have scored 4 or 5 in first half so fortunate to go in at 1-1.GM thought we would have deserved to go in 1-0 up Shocked

For a fair bit of the second half we played okay,pressed and had our fair share of possession but didn,t really create much but then again neither did Hibs until our defence collapsed

Can't understand how Anderson can't get a game

BBC stats

Attempts at goal

Rovers=7

Hibs=17

On target

Rovers =3

Hibs =9

Poor travelling support

Vastly improved performance in an attacking sense and a thoroughly enjoyable game until Hibs scored their second. After that it was game over really.

Brilliant goal by Mackay and great build up with Nade but in honesty we could and should have been three down by then.

The boys stuck to it and I thought we bossed the early part of the second half. I felt the game was crying out for fresh legs. Stubbs had made two changes and in the time that our management team deliberated over the obvious change to be made we went from being in the game to two goals down. After that the substitution was pointless.

This was a free game for Murray after the boards statement and the fact that a defeat to Hibs is never going to be a deal breaker re the managers position.

For 60 minutes I thought he called everything correct. But the failure to at least try something with use of the subs at 1-1 was a major failing.

Good goal from McKay,but awful for Hibs goal.....keep the f..........ing ball.Terrible/naive decision making.Going in 1 up is a totally different game.Personally think that's what let's Bert down,not enough experience to kill game at the right times n up tempo at other times.

Sinky was pure class today, I chummed him through on the train and his chat was brilliant.
When he came on at half time and dropped the 'Townie' bomb it was hilarious.

Lang may your lum reek Davie.
