Also confirmed on Twitter that he’s leaving. I liked Spence, good attitude and work rate but just didn’t click this season.

Was another of Barr's pals that never took the role serious enough for me in pre match warm ups. Didn't show what we require at this level. correct decision for me. Good luck to the boy

Good luck to him, probably his final tilt at full time football in which, unfortunately for him, his chances were pretty limited in a team not suited to the game he plays.

Will do a job wherever he ends up which will probably be in direct opposition to us next season.

Unlike Barr, you can’t fault Spence’s work rate or attitude while on the park

surprised that he is to be given a chance back at that level when he has not stood out at all at this level which has led to him being benched more often than not. Good luck to the boy though local Fife lad deserves a fair crack and Alloa are a club he knows well.
