That was a great night.
John Rowbotham is an excellent compere. Craig Brown and Bill Leckie were fantastic too.
I've seen supposed comedians that were nowhere near as funny as Leckie. I was in tears laughing at the story he told about getting in to the Iran end.

I had one of the best nights in a long time at the dinner and cant thank bill,craig and big john for what they did for me.I would also like to think all those who came along and hope you all enjoyed it.I never stopped laughing all night and wee broon was still telling fitba stories at 1.45 this morning.We had to tell him to get tae his bed as he was up early today to go to aberdeen.Thanks again. Wink

Had a great time last night , and so did my dad .

Not sure how much was raised but I'm sure it was a healthy amount as some of the folks were very generous in the auction bidding wars .

Just wanted to say had a great time last night...speakers were on top form. Thanks to Val too, with a bunch of folks she didnt know but really friendly and chatty. Thanks for organising Gavin.

Wolfman that is called organising prizes not going thru jackets ha ha and it was a great night.So far and i will check it again this week aswell as when i go to the bank £2766 was raised from the dinner.I still have some money to come in yet but that is included in the total.I think that is quite decent.

2 events down and 1 to go before i take a break from fundraising so i hope folk come along to rtr on august 31st.Regarding friday everyone i have spoken to including bill leckie,john rowbotham and craig brown said they had a great time.I would like to thank all those who came along last week and i hope you all enjoyed yourself.I would also like to thank a certain fantalker who stays in america who through the goodness of his heart sent me a cheque for £25.He asked me to use it to cover the cost of a ticket for someone from a charity or someone who couldnt afford to go.I used the money to buy a ticket and donated another so Drew Gourlay who is a rovers fan could take his wife[although i think he wanted his mate to go so he could have a booze up ] Laughing

Drew was there representing maggies fife and as far as i could see him and his wife enjoyed their night.Thanks again everyone and most of all mr.america. Wink
