Its only great events if folk come along and so far things have been lacklustre to say the least.It is early doors so i am hoping once the season is finished then things will pick up.Otherwise i have a lot of explaining to do to all the good causes.

Don't be too concerned , the events will take legs as time gose by . The key to there success is getting the word out and advertising . There is a limited amount of users on here .
Thing like fly posting , in shops , pubs , hotels , factory's , work place ,
pussbook , twatter, etc . Which I'm sure you do .
What would rely help is folk that are involved with kingdom fm , forth 1 etc to help get the word out on the radio on a constant basis .
Like I said , I'm sure you are working every avenue , I wish someone with influence in this field would come forward and help you out .

Posters,flyers etc and more will be put out in the coming months as for radio i usually get a wee bit on forth 1 but havent done anything for kingdom fm.I have also spoke to john murray who has started up a radio station called K107FM which is based at the fife free press offices.He is going to get me down to discuss the events so close your ears if anyone is listening as i will bore you.He has also kindly put some info on their facebook page as has sophie who has put info on her page.[she was dennis`s girlfriend].Any help is much appreciated.

You know ill do what I can with posters etc , when I have some spair time . It's not much but it all helps and if everyone pulls together and dose a wee bit it will make a big difference .
Good work with the radio stuff , I hope kingdom fm can assist as well .

Is anyone interested in these fundraising events as the feedback from raith fans has been almost non existant apart from the usual suspects.I am not just talking about tickets to the events but sponsorship,helping me to advertise etc etc.If folk just want to come along on the night or day to them without saying then fair enough thats great but if no one comes then no good causes inc raith will get any funds.Thanks.

The kirk wynd highland house in kirkcaldy are doing deals on kilts etc for those folk going to the scottish night and want to hire something.I think it is £10 off a hire but that would have to be confirmed by them when you go to the shop.If anyone wants to take advantage of this great offer you will have to take your scottish night ticket with you as proof otherwise they wont give you the deal.

JANEY KIRK has confirmed she will sing at rtr on august 31st.She is from east wemyss and was on new faces in 88 plus she has been on tv a few times in shows like taggart and rab c nesbitt.She is known around the world as a country and western singer but for this gig she is going to sing songs from the 70s to the present day.Scoonie brae have called off so i have asked a local rock band called GARRISON to play and just waiting on a yes or no.

For anyone coming along to the scottish night on JUNE 27th you will be able to pay at the door on the night unless you would prefer to get tickets in advance then you will be able to buy them from styx up until the day.
