I have who is organising the events ever at any time said that dick campbell would be one of the guest speakers at a rovers night.No i havent i said it was john rowbotham and craig brown with 1 more person with a raith connection to be confirmed soon.

Mearly a suggestion , which was perhaps not the best . As usual on this forum someone takes a comment , jumps all over it with criticism and negativity and then comes up with a conclusion thats compleatly wrong and way off the mark
 they never offer any ideas though , incase they end up getting torn a new one . It makes me laugh how cynical some posters are on hear at times . They will beat down peoples ideas for fundraising and social events for the club , but wont help out , or get involved with projects all for the benefit of the club 
Like you said in an earlyier post ( overwhelmed with support for the projcts )

heard RC speak at 200 club dinners and thought he was excellent. As for him being a biggot I'd never have guessed as he made not a single mention of either of trhe OF apart from a mention of when he was Pars manager and they played in a Sky live game.
I'd go to another dinner where he was speaking no bother.

The charities/good causes confirmed so far are TARTAN ARMY SUNSHINE APPEAL,KIRKCALDY YMCA,DOWNS SYNDROME SCOTLAND,MAGGIE`S FIFE and LOVEOLIVER [a local charity helping fund research in child cancer and supporting families affected.If anyone wants info on these charities they all have website that are up and running so folk can have a look.

McCRAES BATTALION TRUST were confirmed today as the final good cause we will be supporting through this years fundraisers.The football club could make a few quid if all the events are a success.

| Quite a festival off events, if it's of any use Dick Campbell spoke at one of the back room brunches organised by our physics/ goalie coach and Gunter. Dick was very very funny, self deprecating and captured the Rovers/pars conflict well. |

JOE`S BAND have confirmed that they will be playing at this years rtr along with SLIPSTREAM,COUSIN KENS NEPHEWS,STATE OF EMERGENCY,BAD BOOGALOO,GAVIN PATRICK,CHARLES WOOD,STEPH,THE POLIS and SCOONIE BRAE.When i know the rest it will be announced on here and in the press,websites etc.

Tickets are on sale for the scottish night from me and at styx so if anyone wants to come along to the gig which is part of rock the rovers 10th anniversary celebrations then pm me or see me at the rovers games.Its only 6 quid which as far as i am concerned is a bargain for what you are getting for the money.After the gig is finished the dj will be on till 2am where he will round the night off.All the profit to the good causes and raith so the more tickets we sell the more they receive.
