Another howler at Tynecastle tonight!
You'd think the suits would have at least made the effort to get goal line technology into the top tier of the game in Scotland, never mind lower senior levels.
Not technology, artificial pitches that can't be used because of low temperatures....it can only be Scottish football.
PS Are they not meant to have and use under soil heating at the top level?
Surely Accies can't afford it these days? _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

At a cost of £250k to install and running goals of a few thousand a match - it can't be financially viable for Scottish Football. As far as I am aware, only 4 leagues in Europe have adopted it; England, France, Italy and Germany - and only their top leagues. Thats a lot of money for a handful of decisions every year. Hard lines for Hibs last night - they deserved to win a poor game of football. |

Not the Douglas Ross? As in Douglas Ross MP ( Con Moray)?
Surprised to see him slumming it down in League 1 albeit no Premiership games just now. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

I reckon the League 1 refs this season have been way better than any we had in the Championship _________________ Championship Winners 2023-24 |

Apparently that roaster we had at Coatbridge on Saturday was given his first Premier league match earlier this season (Hamilton v Ross County) and completely lost control, resulting in a near riot on the park. He's not had a sniff of a top flight match since.
There was also carnage at the Pars v Falkirk game at East End last season where Hippolyte took the most ridiculous dive ever (and was subsequently banned), but the referee bought it and gave the penalty. _________________ Dougie Hill
