I’ll point out that this is what started the problems in Turkey. I’m not directing it at you, badpress139, but at ALL the football fans who say such, especially tongue in cheek, because there are idiots who believe that, and it’s a long road from there to punching officials, but there is a connection. I’ve been just as guilty of an occasional glib comment, but I didn’t realize/understand there are so many who see bigger things behind this. |
