Do you do online banking? If so, just stop the payments there. If not, go into your bank and tell them to stop the payments.

Playing online, you now get the option to play for a fixed period of weeks: 5 weeks, 10 weeks, 20 weeks, 52 weeks.

Me too, used to play as and when I remembered, now entered online......

I would have thought more fans would take this up. It's easy as anything to play online for a fixed period now and it's a good way to help the Rovers out, especially if folk can't make the games. There's also the chance of a decent payout at the moment. Well, when I say 'chance' it's still 1 in 27,405 of winning the £20,000. However, to put that into perspective, the chances of getting 5 numbers on the National Lottery and winning around £1,000 are 1 in 1,906,884.

Were those not options? How do you normally cancel standing orders and direct debits?

The Rovers website notes:

Cancellations of recurring online entries must be made at least 72 hours in advance of the next monthly payment. Pro-rata refunds are not available for future draws.

You could write to the lotto e-mail address noted here or call the club:

I see one of the £25 winners this week is a certain Mr J McGlynn.
It isn't is it? It coulnae be, could it?
If so, isn't it good of the man to keep contributing to his former club for which he did a lot for. Or, maybe mair likely, he's forgot to cancel the standing order! Laughing
