They don't care it's our money they are wasting and you cannot complain, STV were the same how many of them got a wee trip out to tell us something I personally wasn't interested in. But the west of Scotland media rules all. |

BBC Scotland needs to take a long hard look at itself |
I don't see how anyone can be surprised that unionism, in all of its guises, is still going strong at the British broadcaster's Scotland branch.
funny though that the shiny coin carriers don't let them into HQ Ibrox, the irony is staggering. _________________ Gallatown boot boys |

Well said, sir.
Not only all that, but the free-loading as well. Any coincidence that news desk presenter (never a reporter) Laura Miller was sent to Sevilla to do a vox-pop on the streets, and to talk about Rangers fans being in party mode pre match (Really? You'll be telling me they had a drink or two next!). And funnily enough, Kenny Miller was a pundit on BT Sport at the game. What a coincidence!! |

Yes I can complain, and I don't pay STV a yearly fee for their staff to enjoy a 3 day break in Spain for a non news item. _________________ http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk/ |

You can never please a Rovers fan. We moan about the poor quality of Scottish football yet a Scottish side reaches a European final and we are still not happy that Rangers got that far. Quick to complain or gloat when either of the OF are knocked out early in Europe If, by some massive chunk of good luck, we made it there I would love a media frenzy and all the reporters and media to be fawning over us. I am not a fan of either of the OF but credit where it is due surely for reaching the final and narrowly losing. |

Appreciate that welly, but hardly headline news 3 days running when folks cannae get the train home at night, or feed their bairns or put fuel in the car. All about perspective. _________________ http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk/ |

Not just Rovers fans.Contrary to belief you,ll probably find a fair percentage of fans from other clubs like nothing better to see either of the erse cheeks losing whether domestically or in Europe.Personally was happy to see them lose what was a poor final _________________ THERES FIVE OF ME |

I remember the times when Scottish teams in Europe actually had more than a couple of Scotsmen in the starting line up.
Doubt we will ever see that again at club level.
The SFA should be looking into that. It would be helpful if the Scottish media were to highlight this and then get something done about it.
Bring pressure to bare on those that should be promoting our youth.
In forty years we have fallen like a brick down the worlds standing.
I think we should bring top class foreign coaches to Scotland to teach our coaches how to do it .
Our system is broken.
Practically everything nowadays is simply a “ tick box”
Just look at the standard we watch in this country.
Small country we are but there are others that perform better of a similar size........WHY? _________________ Born a Rover Live a Rover Die a Rover |

Some years ago when teachers went on strike over poor pay school teams stopped playing and now very few schools have football teams that play on a regular basis. On Saturday mornings BB teams used to play but don't now. Kids used to put jackets down and play in the park but that also doesn't happen. They also used to play in the streets but that's gone. At school at break we used to play in the playground but it doesn't seem to happen now.
Foreign coaches won't improve the situation of kids not playing. |

Not expecting foreign coaches make our kids play footy, however those that choose to, need better coaching.
Scotland as a country does not provide enough top class players and yet many other similar size countries have national teams that out perform ours regularly.
At least according to world/European standings.
We have a few capable players in the English premiership but we have not got any top class strikers and haven’t had since the 70/80’s.
We struggle to score goals and have done for decades.
Raw talent has to be cultivated, I don’t believe that Scottish coaches are good enough. _________________ Born a Rover Live a Rover Die a Rover |

I think you are wrong stan drew.
A quick Google and images for Kenny Miller show an entirely different lady as his wife in the photos. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Over the years there's been a huge reduction in the number of kids playing football. That is the single, most important reason for the drop in standard. |

The TV presenter must be early 40's with Millers with being younger and i think a former miss Scotland. Definitely different females with the same name. |
