The one thing you always hear about Raith Rovers, especially under John McGlynn, is that team spirit and morale are always high.

Bringing in someone like Gibson could easily upset that and he's not a good enough player to take that risk, according to most Pars fans for every good game he has there are another 4 or 5 where he doesn't show up.

Not for me. Gibson is a complete waster - talented on his day undoubtedly, but those are few and far between. Would much rather have Jamie Walker or Nicky Riley for example.

Confused Pardon my ignorance, but is Gibson an out and out winger, if not ,what position does he play?. How old? Goal-scorer?

According to some Pars fans. Many others rate him as a cracking player and would have him back in a minute.

What many seem to forget is yes McGlynn has installed team spirit/morale but the present team/players will change big time next year as could well the manager.

Maybe it would upset things and maybe it wouldn't.

I spoke to Montrose fans who were very uncomplimentary about Baird who said he was a troublemaker and that he would upset the dressing room.

Under McGlynn he hasn't (But I hear he was nippy at Airdrie too) been anything of the sort.

Thank goodness Frank Connor didn't listen to the gossip about Daz.
He seemed to instinctively know that there was a goal machine lurking in disguise despite being a nearly washed out almost former pro in his 20's. Very Happy
