I think that (and this is only my opinion) it would be an idea to create criteria for entry into the Hall of Fame. I mean, if you are going by 'legendary' players you would need to look at Brian Potter, Willie McStay amongst others. Perhaps it would be an idea to put this more into a public domain? |

Thats an intersting idea if we ever do a Andy Warhol-esque Rovers icon hall of fame. _________________ Competitive goals: Connolly 15, Easton 6, Gullan 6, Stanton 4, Dick 3, Vaughan 3, Connell 2, Brown 1, Frederiksen 1, McBride 1, OG 1. |

I just want to bring attention back to the discussion we had earlier in this thread about raith hall of fame inductees.I said that despite slim jim being a legendary scottish player he only played a few games for us before going on to rangers etc.I thought that there was more players in our history that deserved to be inducted into the hall of fame first well here is 1 of them. His name is willie mcnaught and as far as i am concerned is a true raith legend. Now he may well be inducted eventually but maybe should have been the first.

I'd always assumed Willie McNaught would have already been in it already, if he isn't then I agree with you completely on this. He is one third of the famous Leigh Young McNaught backline from years ago and whilst I'm not against Jim Baxter getting into it I agree that Willie McNaught should be in it before him. I would probably have assumed he was one of the original inductees since the three of them are three of the most famous names from the Rovers history. _________________ "I'd much rather be playing Bayern Munich and be competitive for thirty minutes, than murdering Stockport 8-0 in the Freight Paint-Rolling Trophy or whatever it's called." |

I suppose I can see their point to get a big name as the first one to a certain extent, and Jim Baxter is one of the most iconic names to be associated with the Rovers even if he didn't have his major success with us. They can add those guys later, along with Daz and other ex-players that deserve it...such as Maurice Mendy(!) _________________ "I'd much rather be playing Bayern Munich and be competitive for thirty minutes, than murdering Stockport 8-0 in the Freight Paint-Rolling Trophy or whatever it's called." |

What football club would organise an event on a MONDAY evening?
Fans want to celebrate their clubs in any way they can BUT it HAS to either a Friday evening or a Setterday evening.
Only at the RRFC can they get things SO wrong! |

I will add moaning about the date to the list of complaints.
It has to be a Monday. Apparently that's the only day Paul McManus can manage.. |

It will be a monday as the venue will be available, not the organisers fault that Kirkcaldy has piss poor facilities.
