If each of the 2,218 registered members of Fantalk put immediately donated £1 to the 'Support Rovers' bank account, the club would immediately by £2,218 better off.
If everyone put in a tenner a month, starting now, within 4 months we will have raised £88,000 - covering this years' projected shortfall.
By the end of the season, that's £133,080 - more than enough to buy a seat on the board!
So basically, 33p a day is what it will cost to save this football club, if everyone chips in 
If a tenner is too much, then how about:
- selling 10 Roary's lotto tickets a month (less than 3 a week!)
- sell 1 scratchcard a month
- sell 5 matchday programmes a month

Might not be so easy as you might think. I'd say that more than half of those registered are not legit members. Of the last 900-1000 members only a tiny amount actually post.
I don't know what the term for them are, not spammers or trolls but something akin to that |

Spot on Soundwave I like your way of thinking.
Heres another way to get your tenner....buy a bottle of Whisky, Vodka or whatever and a book of cloakroom tickets raffle the bottle of at a pound a ticket sell 25 tickets... recoup your outlay £15 and the rest goes to Support Rovers.....the winning prize is the Bottle but the unused raffle tickets can be handed over to the winner to allow them to repeat the process.
Theres a ton of different ways to raise a tenner

Your probably right MB it needs to be launched outwith Fantalk, Soundwaves got something going with it on Facebook and it will be discussed how it can be promoted further at the forth coming meeting
