Nice one Gavin.....great article in the FFP.....it'll get dosh in the coffers and charities also plus a needed regeneration of our theme tune....well done for the effort that you have put in.

Thanks mate and i hope i get some better feedback on here when i ask for some fans to come to the studios to sing on it.I have folk to sing the verses so its really just to the sing the chorus along with everyone else which will hopefully include a few celebs,players etc.We are also doing a video diary with interviews with all those involved aswell as footage of the recording sessions.

I disagree, if you include a charity like this then it opens the revenue stream wider than only Raith support, people that are outwith raith will be more inclined to buy because its going to a good cause. Not that the Raith fund isnt but you get what i mean...

Possibly but can work the other way where many already give to charities and would ideally like to see all monies going to the Rovers.Anyway,not wanting to get away from the fact its a great idea.

I cant ever understand whenever folk have a moan about giving some money to charity especially kids ones.If this is done right the publicity for the club will be great and that can only be a good thing.Yes there is money going to the charities but everything made is getting split equally so the club will get a few quid over the coming months.This isnt just for raith fans to buy altho i would like to think they will buy 100s of downloads especially when they hear the updated version.Not having a go at anyone as you all have opnions but just sometimes think of the bigger picture.p.s i dont see much happening as regards raising funds apart from 12th man`s idea for the club but doing this in conjunction with the charities at least its something.I wont say anymore on here about it so you will just have to wait till its finished and you see it publicised in the press or hear it.

Vinnie i dont see everyones opinions negatively but how can you come out and say that we would get more support for it if all monies went to the club.If anything more support and publicity will come from the fact football fans are supporting charity aswell as their team.

Its ok vinnie i know what you were trying to say but hope you understand where i am coming from altho i maybe never explained things well.I am not just aiming this recording at raith fans but in fact hope people from kirkcaldy and further afield will buy it.We all donate to charity and the club in fact i spend half my life doing this aswell as organising so i know what you mean.I cant see too many folk not paying a £1 or £1.50 whatever it costs for the recording but understand if they dont.There is a lot of people giving up their time to support this as you will see soon enough so hopefully it will be a success.

One other thing is that we have talked about re-recording other raith songs which crooked jack have done in the past.If that happens then the profits from they recordings will go to the club but like i said its just talk the now.

That was fantastic tonight and adam the producer is delighted with the outcome especially the raith songs and dancing to scotland the brave.I would just like to thank everyone who went along to the studios and got into the swing of things.I would especially like to thank scott mcbride who despite getting slagged about his yellow boots Laughing

got involved with us and sang his heart out for the time he was there.The song will be available at a later and hopefully all 3 good causes will make a few quid.
