Looking at the highlights, Baird takes a fantastic touch for Tade's goal. He really is brilliant at it. Puts the defenders off balance as it is unexpected. Same with Iain Williamson's goal at East End where he did a wee back heel. |

Baird's touch to set up Tadé on Saturday was sublime.
I know it's cliched to bits but if that was an English Premiership player doing that, you'd never hear the end of it.
Brilliant touch, brilliant finish, 1-0! |

This might be pushing it a bit (and I know how it would be received on P&B) but I genuinely believe Baird is the most talented player in the league. His touch, vision, passing and speed of thought are way beyond 1st Division level. |

Hard to say if he is the most talented but arguably he has been the best player in the most effective team (barring 6p/£1 morons) so far this season. |

thoroughly deserved nomination. I think other players will see what he does for the team and give him the votes to win. Hopefully he has a league winners medal to go with it. |

Well done to Bairdy and to McGlynn who won manager of the year. Both well deserved. |
