Davie McGurn in a starring role in a video a stunning reminder of his depth of talent. Will be a big miss at Starks Park

C'mon tell the truth, you never really got over the Tade departure did you Wink

Davie will always be my no.1 with Tade a fairly close second!

A legend and a great servant to the club. He'll do an outstanding job at Cowden. Very pleased the club have organised a testimonial as well.

I don't think Davie ever came back to full fitness / previous performance after his serious achillies injury.

He has been an outstanding keeper and an outstanding servant to the club but I'm not sure that the performances for which he is legendary would be what we would get this season.

Managers are managers for a reason and fans are fans for a reason.

Trust the manager.

Said all that - I'll be supporting the testimonial as Davie fully deserves a proper send off and recognition for his services to the club.

Great guy, fantastic goalie and the testimonial is well merited. I've seen a lot of good keepers wear our no 1 jersey and Davie is imo the best. Cheers Mr McGurn

A big miss, Davie will be. Simply the best keeper I've ever seen attending matches. Yup, I never saw Murray, therefore for me Davie is the best ever Rovers Keeper.

I'll definitely be at his testimonial, some of the saves he pulled off were ridiculous, none more so than his triple save v Ayr that in all probability staved off relegation when Simmons scored in the 89th min to secure the draw.

I also recall he was the difference at Linlithgow Rose, he kept us in the game as they ran us ragged in the 1st half and probably extended Murray's managerial tenure until the following April.

The Rosey went 4 3 3 at half time, took the kick off and immediately had six on our back four.

Cowdenbeath are at home to ICT on the day after we play Cove if anyone wanted to give Davie a wee cheer.

Well played Davie!

On a separate note, the boy Tordorov looks a player!

When Davie was on loan at Stranraer he broke his foot a week before they were due to play his team Celtic.
On the 16th Cowdenbeath play their U20's in the Irn Bru Cup, I'll be heading along to offer support to our legend.
