Accoridng to Wikpedia it is...but that could mean anything 
Played defensive mid I seem to remember. |

I don't know ... got a funny feeling the other 36 matches we played that season might have been the bigger contributing factor.

Hislop was injured most of that season, but came back and helped us over the line, notably his winner at Stirling the day we went top.
A good servant overall. His name should be nowhere near this thread. I assume you're one of the neandrathals that was never off his back. No doubt you'll have a new hate figure now he's gone. Simmons is my bet. |

I agree. Hislop always gave 100% and chipped in with a few important goals. In between injuries he did his bit for the team (including a very decent performance at centre half in the infamous "3 knackered knees" game I think).
There is absolutely no way his name should be anywhere near this thread. Considering some of the gash that has played for us in recent years it's laughable that guys like him, Steve Tosh, and even Stuart Romaines are being mentioned on here. Did the folk who mentioned the likes of them forget about Hilland, Stirling, Eloujdi, etc?
My vote goes to Jack Perry, by the way. Atrocious.

Gaughan might make the team at a push, but Wedderburn??? Singling out a guy who's trying to make the transition from under 19s football to the first team is extremely harsh. At the very least wait until he's made a few full appearances for the first team before putting him in that company!

Don't think Gaughan gets near this team. Wedderburn hasn't exactly been Beckanbaur in the few games he played for us but jeez give the kid a chance! |

Ian Harty is a great shout actually, because not only was he mince but he was a complete money-grabber and looked so dissinterested and gave the impression he thought he was above us when he was here. Not a surprise really that he had 4 different clubs that one season and was useless at them all; he only ever had that one season at Clyde when he did well. Not hard to tell that I absolutely hated him. |

Jack Perry, good call Alan Russell. I'd forgotten about him, it was rumoured that his father paid the Rovers to give the useless lump a game, was it true I wonder?
Talking of useless lumps I was always disappointed in Jim McInally he was murder. Then he scored a screamer against us when playing for Dundee at San Starko. |

Should Jack Perry not be one of those former legends(!) who is inelligible for this since he was technically a Claude Anelka signing? He was rotten though. |
