I was so angry to see a game of football break out at the latest vuvuzela concert in South Africa Rolling Eyes

They're a lot of nonsense, and if they're South African tradition, brilliant. It means the *beep* things have no reason to travel outside the country.

Doesn't seem to be an issue in Glasgow:

Whether Fife Police or Rovers see different to this remains to be seen though.

it is a good idea to get a good atmosphere in my opinion and now celtic have confirmed them as going to be sold at official outlets and will not be banned at games i think more clubs will want to sell these and 1. get a good atmosphere and 2. make money from them, i know steven pressley already said to press he thinks theyre a great idea

That alone is enough to make me think they are a terrible idea and shouldn't be allowed.

But it's not even an atmosphere is it? Atmosphere isn't a single monotonous tone throughout the game. Atmosphere ebbs and flows, comes and goes. A vuvuzela doesn't.

Apparently Rangers are the only club in Scotland to have banned the vuvuzela. They say there are enough irritating plastic tubes at Ibrox already...... Razz
