|
|
Now that the season has finished, the official player of the year night passed and folk have a few weeks to rest and save money, thought I'd get the ball rolling to promote the Fife's Finest supporters club end of season party.
Following last years' successful 60s night, we are having a 70s night at DV8 nightclub with live music from "Hot Love" who are a glam rock tribute band, well known in the Glasgow area, followed by a retro disco into the early hours and we also hope to get some disco dancers along.
The former players association are looking to have a team of the 70s reunion and Ally Gourlay is working tirelessly to pull together some of our favourite former players (all before my time of course! ) to make the night that little bit extra special, and we also hope to have members of the current squad along (if they can handle it after last year!) and nearer the time we'll confirm who is going to be there.
Tickets are £10, which includes a buffet and entry to both DV8 and Kitties until 3am and if you want to get into the spirit and dress up for the occasion, The Chicken Shop are offering a 10% discount on fancy dress for the event.
You can get tickets from Styx, the Chicken Shop and members of Fife's Finest.
Hope to see lots of you there

Just a wee teaser of an update on this - we have 25 players from the Rovers' squads of the 70s but I won't reveal who just yet.......watch the 'official' site for the list
let's just say that we can't help falling in love with one of them |

It was fantastic and everyone who attended had a great night aswell as meeting ex players and john mcglynn.I am sure soundwave will give a more in depth update at some point but i can tell you DAVIE MCGURN was voted fifes finest player of the year.COLIN CAMERON received an award and BILLY BROWN picked up an award on behalf of MURRAY MCDERMOTT`S family. _________________ YOULL NEVER WALK ALONE
