Now that Wardlaw is no longer suspended, who will McGlynn play up front? I would start with Smith and Wardlaw and bring Weir on for the last 20 minutes or so to run at the tiring defence.
Thoughts? |

He can't drop either after today's performance. Wardlaw has to bide his time and take the chance if and when he gets it. |

Definitely wouldn't "drop" either of them, but I would "rotate" the partnership (you see what I did there?) for Tuesday night. Give Smith or Weir a rest (I'm not sure which will fit better with Wardlaw, haven't seem him yet) and then reinstate those two for the Alloa game. |

Correct me if i am wrong, but isnt Smith in fact a midfield player.
If so theres no reason why we cannot play all three. |

Though he had a good game I thought Weir tired a bit midway through the second half today (Queens Park 9th Aug). He was trying too hard and you could see his head go down and the shoulders slump when things didn't go right for him. He needed a goal today and that one that hit the bar was so close. Give him an hour against Alloa and take it from there. |

couldnt drop either of them after today but i would bring on wardlaw in the second half, and if he plays well then perhaps maybe a start for him _________________ Goal Count 10/11

| Why not play Wardlaw, Weir and Smith up front with Bryce and Weir jnr on the bench _________________ For Those About To Rock We Salute You

After yesterdays showing I would think it makes sense to start with Weir and Smith again. The others will have to up their game to dislodge them. |

I would go with Wardlaw and Smith, both fast, strong and could work really well together. Weir for me just doesn't score enough goals. In relation to Smith, he was signed as a forward having played that position for Dundee Utd reserves.
Don't think we should move him into midfield as he looks the most likely to score. |

Graham Weir's younger brother we had him as a trialist, but to my knowledge he was not signed. _________________ .
