It has eventually happened the dates for this are friday 2nd april and sat 3rd april.I know we are away to ICT that day but hopefully when the straggelers get home and the sober ones as well that they will come and support the event. It is planned to have over 20 different ales, also lagers and real ciders with varying strengths and for the ladies there will also be wine on offer. We are hoping to have sponsors for all the ales and lagers which means that if the cost of the beers are covered then everything that is sold will be pure profitand the more drunk the more the rovers get.Anyone who would like to contribute a prize for a raffle we will be giving details on who to contact with your donation. Also we are trying to have some live entertainment there as well. All of this will be happening in the south concourse and you are all cordially invitited.
PS if you go on the friday and pay your entrance I think this covers you for the Saturday as well I will come back to you on this.Anyway Happy New Year when it comes.Any questions fire away I will do my best to answer. |

Sounds good. However can it not be hosted in the Raith Suite? The south stand concourse isn't much of a venue, especially if the weather is cold. |

It's all to do with temperature the Raith Suite would be to hot for the ales whereas the south concourse is ideal for such a venue,so the experts tell me.basically it comes down to that and the Raith Suite would probably be to small as you have to erect scaffolding to hold the barrels.Anyway rest assured it will be an interesting event over two days.We are looking for anyone who would like to help in anyway on the Friday or during the day and evening of the saturday. |

Sounds like a great idea, can we get a few kegs to take on the train to inverness?
could be a long, long journey up north for those of us who go on the friday night! |

come to starks park before you go on the friday because if you pay then you don't have to pay again on the saturday when you get back. All you will have to do is pay for your drinks tickets. |

Zico, whats the plan for advertising this? This event will be something different and should appeal to people who might not just read the Rovers website. It would be a good idea to get the word spread just now. |

Just bumping this up to the top to remind everyone that the beer festival is less than a week away.
Opening times are 6pm - 11pm on Friday, and 1pm - 11pm on Saturday. Hopefully there will be some beer left for the fans returning from Inverness on the Saturday evening! _________________ Follow the Trust on facebook and twitter |
