|
|
My niece is doing a quiz at work and stuck on the sports questions.
The're cryptic clues like :- 147 MB in S is 147 Maximum Break in Snooker.
The ones she's stuck on are 4 P in a CT & 5 C in HR
Any help would be much appreciated. _________________ When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bike. Then I realised that The Lord doesn't work that way, so I stole one and asked him to forgive me. |

I had thought Horse racing too, but couldn't quite work out the Classic part.
Looks good to me as it is pretty much the only possibility lol. |

Rugby League -A try involves touching the ball to the ground on or beyond the defending team's goal-line and is worth four points.
Rugby Union - A try, scored by grounding the ball in the in-goal area, is worth 5 points.
Starship i dunno where you get 7 points for try from.

A "converted try" is a try where the conversion (kicking the baw between the sticks) is scored afterwards. I don't know if they do this in Peanut Hugging League, but they definitely do it in Egg Chasing Union and you get 5 points for the try and another 2 for the conversion, giving 7 in total.
So he wiz right _________________ Follow the Trust on facebook and twitter |

Nah a try is a try regardless if the conversion is converted or not. _________________ When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bike. Then I realised that The Lord doesn't work that way, so I stole one and asked him to forgive me. |
