There is 100s of cds left so if anyone wants em you can get them at HARLEM,STARKS PARK CLUB SHOP,THE FIFE FREE PRESS OFFICE or from ME.I am also looking for folk who may be willing to sell em on matchday outwith the club shop i.e OUTSIDE THE GROUND,IN THE SUITES or IN THE STAND.If anyone is interested then give me a pm so i can organise it with them as the club will get half of any money raised but that wont be till after christmas.I am also gonna have the songs available to DOWNLOAD but thats not going to happen until i sell the cds.There was a lot of money,organisation and effort put into this by quite a few folk and it would great to see them rewarded for the efforts by us selling the cds.THANKS

Hey lads and lassies we have 900 cds stuck in boxes gathering dust when we could be selling them to raise funds for raith and maggies.I have had other things on in the last few months so havent pushed em enough to sell but that will change in the coming weeks.I hope to announce a few incentives to get sales but will have to see how to go about it and come back to you and the wider kdy public.I thought they would sell no probs as it was for 2 importantant institutions but have been proved wrong so have to change things.If anyone is willing to sell them for me in the meantime gies a shout or you can get em at MAGGIES CENTRE in kdy,STARKS PARK SHOP,HARLEM and the PRESS OFFICE.I also hope to put them online for download but that WONT happen till i sell the cds i have.cheers

I'll definitely pick one up (and buy it) from the club shop at the next home match I get to.
Just ahd a thought about promoting sales. On the 'team sheets'' handed out at each game , what are the chances of those producing it putting a 'footer' on the sheet saying "Rock the Rovers CD on sale in the shop now!" ? It would cost absolutely nothing to advertise and it might just jog the memory of some folks who might be inclined to buy the CD but like me forget all about it come match day.

Where the Trust application form is you mean? On the tear-off section that we pay to advertise on?

Half the profit is going to raith anyway so if i have to pay something to put it in the programme i will just no sure who to ask.I spent months setting this up and sales have been poor but thats mibbe my fault but hope to change that.As far as playing before a match and at ht apparently it was done but i never heard it but then am never in for kick off.Gordon if you can help at the next few home games give me a shout and i will send you the details about the songs.THANKS

I noticed that they did play a couple of tracks from the CD at the last home game. While not bad, I would have chosen othe rtracks. Maybe they will go through the remaining tracks at a later date. There was also a write up that week in both the Courier and My local rag The Gazette.
I bought a copy from the club shop at the last home game as I said I would and I haven't been disappointed.
The one track that almost put me off buying the CD is much worse than I had envisaged(nothing to do with the artist, just a personal thing), but all the others are certainly worth a listen to.
Well done SOW for setting all of this up and I hope that sales pick up

Thanks mate for that and we wont please everyone but please remember those wanting to buy this that its for raith and maggies centre.All those on it have played at the gig at some point over the years so there is a bit of a mix on it.THERES EVEN TOWNIES ON IT WHICH SAYS A LOT AND IS APPRECIATED.

THE ROCK THE ROVERS CD WILL BE ON SALE FROM HMV IN THE MERCAT,KIRKCALDY FROM FRIDAY 28th NOVEMBER ABOUT 4.30ish.
