Or we could have not conceeded one in Macedonia and we would be a point better off. Not point in ifs, buts or maybes.

I'm not blaming Iwelumo. The difference between your example, and my example is that we were expected to beat Norway at home, and looking back, Norway are nothing special, we should be beating them at home. Macedonia however, i didn't expect us to win.

The SFA seem to be confused. They mention The Netherlands and Holland. They appear to be interchangeable. I'm aware that Holland is part of the Netherlands, before you start parroting some info you heard on P&B.

I notice that because we beat a poor Macedonia side and then lost at home to Holland, George is safe. We should have romped home in second place in that group. Couldn't manage it, yet because we were spirited losers against a dutch side who had nothing to play for, his job is safe.

This country will always be losers at football as we have the attitude of losers and the game is run by losers.

Well I think we will qualify for the Euros, players like McCormack, Commins, Berra, Barr and hopefully Griffiths coming through we can have a good squad with players playing in good leagues.

The likes of Commons, Berra, Barr and Griffiths, seem like pretty bog average pros to me.


Just now, but Griffiths is 18 and is very good just now, Berra should improve well in the prem (as should Flecther, Commins) and we have younger players coming through who hopefully get there chance.

Now we will drop to pot 3 and if Burley can get us to the Euros we should move up and start building from there. However if he fails to make then and he has had 4 years then I would start looking for a new manager. But for now give Burley a chance.
